What Par Crawl collects, why, and your choices.

Who we are

Par Crawl is operated by Flavr Web Dev Ltd (company number 14994358), a company registered in England and Wales ("we", "us", "our"). We are the data controller for the personal data described here. You can reach us at support@flavrapps.com.

Information we collect

• Account details: your email address, and the display name and avatar emoji you choose.
• Sign-in data: if you use Sign in with Apple or Google, we receive a unique identifier and (where you allow it) your email address. We never receive your password.
• Game data: the crawls, courses, RSVPs, teams and scores you create or take part in.
• Purchase data: if you buy the Clubhouse Pass, your app store tells us that an entitlement is active. Payment is handled by Apple or Google — we never see your card details.
• Device & technical data: a push-notification token if you opt in to notifications, plus the basic logs (such as IP address and request metadata) needed to run the service securely and prevent abuse.
• Support messages: anything you send us when you ask for help.

How we use your data, and our legal bases

We use your information only to operate the game and keep it safe. Under UK GDPR our legal bases are:

• To perform our contract with you — creating and authenticating your account, running your crawls, scores and leaderboards, and providing the Clubhouse Pass.
• Our legitimate interests — keeping the service secure, preventing fraud and abuse, and improving the app, in a way that does not override your rights.
• Your consent — sending push notifications, where you have opted in. You can withdraw consent at any time in your device settings.
• Legal obligation — where we must retain or disclose data to comply with the law.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for cross-app advertising or tracking.

Who we share it with

Other players in a crawl can see your display name, avatar, RSVP status and scores. Your email address is never shown to other players. We share data only with service providers who process it on our behalf under contract, including:

• Hosting — to run the app and store your data.
• Apple and Google — for Sign in with Apple/Google and in-app purchases, under their own terms.
• Email and push delivery — only where you use those features, to send sign-in codes and notifications.

We may also disclose data where required by law, or to protect our rights, users or the public.

International transfers

Some of our providers may process data outside the UK or EEA. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Standard Contractual Clauses) to protect your data.

Data retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account we remove your personal data and disassociate your name from past crawls. We may retain limited records for as long as needed to meet legal, security or fraud-prevention obligations.

Security

Data is stored on secured servers and transmitted over encrypted connections, and access is limited to what is needed to run the service. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information.

Your rights

You can edit your profile, leave any crawl, and delete your account from within the app at any time. Depending on where you live, you also have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your data, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email us at support@flavrapps.com. If you are in the UK and are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

Cookies

Our website uses only the essential cookies needed to operate it securely. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The mobile app does not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.

Children

Par Crawl is strictly for adults of legal drinking age (18+). It is not intended for, and we do not knowingly collect data from, anyone under that age. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes

We will post any changes to this policy here and update the date above. Significant changes will be highlighted in the app where appropriate.
